This MP3 is aimed at young children below the age of ten (depending on the maturity of the individual child).
It works best played as the child drifts to sleep. Beginning with a body relaxation, it then flows into a lovely visualisation of rainbows and gardens that induce a relaxed and positive state of mind.
‘Little Robin’ is inspired by and draws directly from the language patterns we inherited from The Clifton Practice Hypnotherapy Training College, born out of more than 30 years of research.
The ‘Little Robin’ metaphor story towards the end is dedicated to all mothers, grandmothers and great grandmothers of yesteryear who upheld the tradition of bedtime routines of storytelling, so beneficial to a child’s sleep patterns and general wellbeing.
Gareth and I wrote this language pattern together. It is particularly in honour of his Grandma, a wise matriarch who had a natural remedy for any ailment and a plethora of stories to amuse, teach and calm the little-ones. It reminds us of the precious presence of Mother Nature on our Earth, to be in wonder of this magical world and thankful for each precious new day – the gift of the present!
This MP3 is a lovely resource for children having difficulties with sleep and is useful to add as a habitual signpost for a good night’s sleep.
If children are suffering more serious or long-lasting issues, we recommend they use this alongside therapy with us at Alchemy Hypnotherapy.
Never play this MP3 while you are driving or operating machinery!
